Psychedelic
Therapy
Are you curious about alternative treatments?
I offer Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for individuals going through life transitions who experience anxiety and feeling stuck in relationship patterns. I am passionate about psychedelic therapy based on my own positive experience and the break in maladaptive thinking patterns that can arise. KAT is a specific treatment model that involves the use of ketamine alongside talk therapy. This experience may help people view personal or vulnerable situations from a new perspective, and it can promote a sense of meaning and purpose. If you are approved, I work alongside a team of medical professionals to build a treatment program.
How Does Ketamine Feel?
The effects of ketamine, which most patients find pleasant, last for approximately 45 minutes. These effects can make you feel “far from” your body, and facilitate shifts in perception that can often feel expansive in nature. Your motor and verbal abilities will be reduced, so you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience. Once these effects subsided, we’ll spend the remainder of our appointment giving you space to process and discuss your experience. While it may feel hard to articulate what happened during the experience, patients feel like the insights gained are none-the-less clear. Studies have shown that the benefits to mood and neurological growth can last up to two weeks after the Ketamine experience.

EMDR
EMDR is the most effective way to resolve trauma within your body and move forward to live a more successful and free existence. We can do this both virtually as well as in person.
I am trained in EMDR therapy, which involves moving the eyes in a specific way while processing traumatic memories. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms.
